Not Allowed Countries:

For countries not listed, we are awaiting new permissions. Updates are provided time to time. If your country is not on the list, please check back in some weeks for potential updates, or reach out to us by email or chat.

Processing Time:

Our current processing time is 3 to 14 business days, with shipments planned once a week on Thursdays or Fridays. Please note that processing times may extend due to national holidays or religious events. For updates, feel free to reach out to us.

Cancellation Policy:
Following our standard policy, cancellations requested more than 2 days after payment confirmation will not be accepted. If you wish to cancel within 2 days of placing your order, you will be fully refunded. Cancellations after 2 days will incur a 30% deduction from the total payment amount for our team's labor. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Commitment to Fair Practices:
Senegal's unemployment rate exceeds 22%, and the population age 0 - 14 is more than 40% of the country. Modecorarts is proud to contribute steady jobs to Senegalese craftspeople. Our fair approach involves investing more in the manufacturing process, with the aim of enhancing the lives of our craftspeople and supporting local communities.

About Products:
All Modecorarts items are handmade in Senegal with meticulous attention to quality and finishes. Please accept slight variations in colors or dimensions due to the handmade process. Differences of up to 1.5" (about 4cm) are considered normal.

About Defects:
While our products may have minor defects due to the handmade process, these imperfections add to their charm. If you encounter a serious defect, please do not hesitate to contact us.

About Returns:
We do not recommend returning items due to high shipping costs. For small items, notify us within 1 week if you wish to return. Refunds will not be issued for returned items.

About Wholesale:
We accept wholesale inquiries. Please email us at modecorarts[at]gmail.com with your inquiry, including the approximate deadline, interested products, and quantity.

Shipping Method:
We primarily use the postal service for shipping. Senegal's post office prices are weight-based, allowing us to offer affordable shipping compared to other logistics companies. Our shipping may take longer but ensures the safe delivery of "made in Senegal" products to your door, supporting local craftspeople.

After Shipment:
Upon shipping, please note that we cannot be held responsible for customs clearance times or fees in your destination country. Customs clearance typically takes 1 to 8 weeks, and any additional fees are beyond our control. We recommend checking with your country's customs office for details on required payments.

VAT, Taxes, and Import Fees:
It's important to note that VAT, taxes, or any other potential import fees are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are determined by the authorities of your destination country and are beyond our control. Occasionally, customers may encounter fees upon receipt; however, these are collected by the customer's country's authority, not by us. If you have any inquiries or require further clarification regarding these fees, we kindly suggest contacting your country's customs office. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Tracking and Delivery:
We provide a tracking number for your convenience. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package. If the package is not received due to a lack of action after receiving the tracking number, we are not responsible for possible returns.
